Avalyn developed Long COVID as a child, which changed her daily life and made it difficult to attend school and participate in activities she once enjoyed. Through her book Star Dizzy Lizzy, she found a creative way to express her experiences and connect with other children. Kids’ Connect Zone is a program from the World Health Network created to give children a safe, welcoming space to connect, share stories, and learn together.
